I mean she’s really just standard… so I just don’t know. ![]() ![]() Then I thought I about starting with the fact that she wrote her first novel in fifth grade and play in fourth grade, before songwriting (but ho-hum she was just branching out of poetry and geeze…. But so what? Or that she acts, voices audiobooks (fiction and nonfiction- over 100 in total). I suppose I could talk about how she grew up in desert with her brothers and some clothes. This bildungsroman moves along frenetically. The journey, of course, leads to changes in both Des and Chaz as they discover their true selves. What can I say? Truthfully, I have agonized over the introduction to this interview with the author of Desdemona and the Deep. But I mean there just isn’t much to say. After an epiphany and some soul searching, Desdemona and her best friend Chaz set out on an expedition into The Deep to rescue the 36 cogs that her father casually tossed away. ![]()
